Disability Advice Bradford
Future Vision
To further enhance the lives of disabled people, carers and their families by developing new and innovative services working in partnership with other partners and stakeholders.
Aims & Objectives
DaB aims to enable disabled people in the Bradford Metropolitan District to achieve a high quality of life and to help them take up the same opportunities that non-disabled people have open to them in a modern and integrated society. We aim:-
- To provide high quality and professional information and advice services for and in conjunction with disabled people, their carers and advocates, volunteers and professionals working with them.
- To assist and enable disabled people, through the provision of information, advice or representation to obtain their statutory rights and benefits, and to improve their opportunities and living standards.
- To empower disabled people and their carers by enabling people to remain in their own homes and to be as independent as possible through the use of our equipment and independent living services.
- To publish and distribute good quality information by both audio and visual means.
